Double Spread Analysis

The title of the spread is Legenderry, which is a play on words with the word legendary replacing -dary with the location which is, Derry. The dominant photo of the bridge is leading readers towards the page. Within each photo, there is a caption stating what is the place being photographed. The indication allows those reading planning to travel to go to these locations an idea of what their names are. There is a big W next to the main article to indicate the start. The text is wrap around the circled picture to allow an easier guidance to reading.

The photos are organized based on the topic being described in the text. The sub headings within the article matches the blues in the picture to carry a sense of them throughout the page. The captions for the photos also are in blue and it states the location and what precaution they're regarding to COVID. The text is laid out in rows to make it easier to read and make it look more appealing than a big clumped paragraph.
The text have lines between them to make it accessible to reading and more organized. All of the photos and advertisement have warm colors and gradient in them to make a theme across the spread. The large bold A indicates the start of the editor's note and they used bold to have a sense of power and authority in the editor's note. Although there is other words in the spread in bold, it is more welcoming and relaxing by the font.
